Minimalist sandals RUIVO Plus 5mm vibram

RUIVO PLUS (5mm Vibram + LEATHER)

This model was created for true minimalists. The used 5 mm Vibram sole is lined with leather what guarantees very low weight and comfort for the foot. We managed to find here a compromise between lightness and durability. The model has been designed with classic straps layout, therefore it is dedicated to walking.  The straps go directly through the sole, thus creating a better angle of placement on the foot.

The 5mm Vibram sole is very flexible and molds to the foot when first worn. The soft and flexible strap fits perfectly to the foot without causing any chafing. Thanks to the "side posts", the strap is led at the right height, which prevents it from slipping off the heel. Thanks to the snap buckle, the sandals can be put on very quickly without any need for additional adjustment.

Features of the 5mm sole:

Leather padding properties:
Advantages:
- Durability, very durable material resistant to abrasion and damage. Impossible to tear off the sole.
- Comfort, nice and pleasant to the touch.
- Breathability, absorbs sweat and heat well, making it pleasant on hot days.
- Aesthetics, original design and natural color.
- Naturalness, bovine suede leather produced in a Polish tannery.
- Versatile, can be used in all conditions, but proper maintenance is important.
Disadvantages:
- Color change where it touches the foot. Leather becomes darker and "glassy" over time.
- Leather absorbs water in wet conditions and becomes slippery.
- If not dried properly, there may be a problem with an unpleasant smell.
